Well, do not mean to be Mr. Obvious, but have you tried Ruger Customer Service? Numrich does not list stocks for the 77/22, but they sometimes have a few items on hand that are not in their catalog- gunpartscorp.com. Email and ask-

What we have heah is.... failure to communicate.
I did try that as well as about a half dozen other sources. Too many $$$$ to justify cutting up. I have been watching eBay and hope on one of the forums I will find someone that beat one up. Looks are not important as getting it to fit the small frame shooter.
