For those of you interested in building your own personal semiautomatic 22 rifle you should check out this site..Ruger 10/22 RAZOR Receiver 80% Completed & Select Fire Suppressors . These receivers are easy to finish and produce a match grade rifle. There are plenty of customer build pictures to look at.

Select Fire has made it very easy for builders to finish their receiver with drill jigs, tools, pictures, instructions and even a 10 minute video of building one from scratch.

If you don't want to deal with FFL transfer fees and government paperwork an 80% receiver is something to consider. You can build as many as you want the law has no limit. You just can’t build them and sell them without a manufactures license.

The drill jigs are designed to build up to 6 receivers in the event you and some friends have a build party.
