See this nut? Take it off. Then take off it's little bracket. Pull the barrel from the receiver. See that flat piece of metal sticking out from the rear of the barrel? That's the ejector, not to be confused with EXTRACTOR. The extractor is semi permanently attached to the bolt with a roll pin. The extractor pulls the spent casing from the chamber, and the ejector spits it out of the rifle.
You can pry the ejector away from the barrel with only your hand, but you'll have to tap it back into place when you put it back together. It's kind of crimped into place.
