Default Savage model 29b in 22lr

I inherited a Savage model 29B from my dad. He found it in my grandfather's closet after he died. It was in the original box which fell apart when he pulled it out of the closet. It had never been fired. My dad shot it a few times, but that was it. It is in great shape. After reading about it, I found out it was a take-down rifle. Pretty cool. I cannot find a serial number on it, so I have no idea how old it is. What I do know is it's extremely accurate. There is a stamp on the top of the barrel that says 15T. Anyone know any more about these sweet guns?

Sweet little guns- about 80 yrs old. Very similar to the little Remington 12A.

Thanks c3shooter, I wish I had seen this when I was pulling it apart this afternoon. Mine has a more rounded receiver and a round barrel, but other than that, they're very similar. Thanks again.
