I am really excited for her to be the first to fire it tomorrow and for her to learn dialing in her scope.

that was a problem i had with the factory stock on my Savage. the stock was a bit short and made the LOP too short for me. when i changed it to the Boyd's stock, it fit me much better.

i have two rifles with the Boyd's laminated stocks and have been pleased enough that i will be buying a few more in the future. excellent service and fast shipping.

Sharpshtr, when you order your stock from Boyd's, get the trigger guard and bottom metal from them as well as the screws. the first time i didn't and the factory Savage screws didn't work with the new stock. had to order them from Boyd's.

Okay then it sounds as when I'm ready I'll be getting a stock from them. Yeah I know I will have to remember to do that when I do order one. Thanks!

I have the 3-9x Sweet 22. They are on sale for $40 at SWFA. Boyds carries the bottom metal but I complained to Savage and they sent me mine for free.

Here you go. This is my last group. Off hand at 50. I thought it was pretty good! Love this gun! Ended up using cci mini mags and BSA sweet 22 3-9x40.

Nice shooting buddy. Stretch it out to 100 yards, it'll be sub moa with good trigger control
