Same magazine for bolt action & semi-auto?
Are there any rimfire bolt action and semi-autos that take the same magazines?
Are tube magazines interchangeable? |
Many of the Mossberg and Marlin 22 rifles used a common box type magazine. As far as tube types, assume you mean the inner removable portion- and no- they come in different lengths.

the ruger 10/22 & the 10-77 ( I think I got that second model number right) use the same 10rd mag

Marlin XT22 & Marlin 795 share mags...
not to mention the 880 & 925 & 980 series bolt actions & 70/70P/70PSS/989/989G/995/Katz-1282 and all the other oddball numbers I've compiled elsewhere ;) Basically, if its a Straight Stick-mag Marlin, it shares mags...with all the other straight Stick mag Marlins... EXCEPT the A1 & 50-series (rare as heck & 65+ years old, don't sweat it, unlikely to find a working example anyway) Much like the 25M/25MN/882/925M/982/XT22-M's all share mags... and if you mill a slot into the right side of those mags...they'll also fit in the 922-M as well ;) Now...the one hiccup is the 25-rd Champion Mag...which fits the 795, but does not fit the bolt actions due to the large body...but one can mod their stock to accept 'em...if they so desire... |
