Remington Golden Bullet
Remington Target 22
Remington Thunderbolt
Winchester Wildcat
Any and all sub-sonic brands and types.

Also if you have the Performance Center Model it is equipped with a .22LR Lanley semi-auto match chamber which does not accommodate CCI Stinger brand ammunition. WARNING: Never use CCI .22LR Stinger brand ammunition in your M&P 15-22 Performance Center Model Rifle.

OK on to what they DO recommend.

"Based on the design and action of the M&P 15-22, Smith & Wesson recommends that you use the following brands and types of .22LR ammunition for optimal performance in your M&P 15-22 rifle".

CCI Standard Velocity
CCI Mini-Mag
Aguila Super Extra Std. Velocity
Aguila Super Extra High Velocity
Federal American Eagle
Federal GameShock
Winchester Super-X High Velocity

I have been using the CCI Mini-Mag and Aguila Super Extra Std. Velocity with no issues at all. I did by a couple of the 33rd after market mags and they do not work that well. The 25rd S& W mag works every time. I will be looking for a couple more of them when the prices come down.

Sorry for the long post but I thought it might be a help to those wondering about what ammo to use.
Ditto that.

Nothing but FTFs, FTEs, and double feeds in mine. I ordered my shipping label today. Do they pay for the box and packing too?

Wooohoooo!!!! Good results!!!
I couldn't wait any longer. Just went out in the back yard and fired off 100 rounds or so. Used Rem Thunderbolts and Rem Golden Bullets with my M&P and Plinker Tactical mags. Not one problem!!!! I've never made it through a magazine without a problem and I just made it through 4 with crap ammo.

Good to hear Jack! I really hope I have the same exp. Did they give you anything for your troubles, like a spare mag, etc?

Well it's kinda funny. They lost my 25 round mag It wasn't in the box so I called them. They sent a 10 round to me since they didn't have anymore 25's in stock but they ordered a 25 round for me. So.... I did get a free magazine out of the deal.
Kinda sucked but since I can convert the 10 round to a 25 rounder I think it worked out fine
