Check out Bushnell TRS25 and UTG medium mount. Both about less than $90 shipped from Amazon.

Quite possibly, Brother..... quite possibly!

Personally..... I have been SUCKED into the VORTEX of the Black-Rifle Accessory Pit. I've been sucked so hard, in fact, that I actually have a VORTEX Diamondback Scope on a couple of my Black Rifles!

The trick is...... NOT to fight it..... but.....

(I actually have this patch on the back of my Range Ballcap..... got it at a Gun Show a couple of months ago.....)

For the OP, with regards to Scopes/Iron Sights/Red Dots, you can find a combination that works for you, where the Scope and Iron Sights line up together, called, "Co-Witness". You're usually able to see the Red Dot, for instance, line up with the Front Sight, keeping you on Target. Should the Scope's Battery die during a Range Day, the Iron Sights are right there to take over, without so much as a Trigger-Pull-Delay.

Cheers!

I would recommend the MOE version. I got mine for $500. I think slide-fire stocks fit these too.
