Ok finally got 150 rounds through the new gun. Nice little plinker. Sights need a little adjustment, but grouping very consistently once I readjusted the aim. As suspected, one of the clips is defective. Feeds rounds ok, but doesn't leave the slide open after the clip is empty. Will be calling Ruger in the morning. This will be a fun gun. Still, I'm going to give it a C. Not worthy of all the hype. Also will install a stronger guide rod and spring. Had to do the same thing with my LCP. Ruger is really getting cheap on parts.

Just an update. Called Ruger about the clip. No questions asked, they are sending a new clip with a package and return label for the defective one. I am truly impressed at their convenient, fast, and friendly service. Now I like this little plinker even more. But not enough to raise the grade.

Not for these poorly constructed pieces of equipment. I will always refer to them as clips The ones for my Glock 19 G4; those are magazines.

I had a P22 I feel it had a slide made of poor material lots of wear and ammo picky I sold it and got a T22 ( BERSA) because of the steel slide it was so ammo picky I sold it a bought a SR22P I have about 2k Rds not a failure of any kind and no wear . The only ammo is wont cycle is snake shoot because of low power .
