i honestly cant see paying 600+ for a out of the box 10/22.

if your gonna spend that get a cmmg 22rifle they got about 10 different configs from M4 to full 20" A2 style

or 499 gets ya a sw mp22. both the smith and cmmg look more like an AR with more functionality than the sr22

I got mine for $499.00 in March 2011.

I have the 10 rounder mags; but, have 2 Butler Creek mags that hole 25 rounds.

If you want a dressed up 10/22, then have fun. If you want a real AR, the get the Smith & Wesson.
