DefaultRuger Mark I target Model

So my dad has a Ruger .22 Mark I Target model. We want to find out how much it is worth. Some body told us that it is a collectors item. I don't know about that.

http://www.cornellpubs.com/Templates2/Ruger%20Mk%20I%201952.htm
The manual looks similar, and the top gun looks like our Ruger

Any idea on a price on it?

Look at the Ruger medalion on the grips. Most a black. If RED, value doubles. Color changed in mourning for death of Bill Ruger's partner. Go to Ruger website, you can download manual for your pistol.

Prices range from $795 for a 100% to $175 for a 60%

+$100 for ruger addressed break
+$250 for early hinged yellow, red and black Target Pistol box
+$300 for early hinged yellow, red and black 5 1/4in Target Pistol box
+$75 for early 2 piece yellow, red and black Target Pistol or T512 box
+$225 for early 2 piece yellow, red and black T514 Target Pistol box.

100% is not what your pistol is. A 100% specimen would be one that is unfired no rust no marks what so ever wrapped in the original wax paper in the original box with all original paperwork.
