Ruger Charger with Just a Few Mods...NICE!
I just received my new Ruger Charger this week, and introduced just a few minor modifications before taking it out for a try...
- Smith & Wesson Performance Optics Red Dot Sight - Trigger job from Great West Gunsmithing (Gun Doc at Welcome to Great West Gunsmithing) - Mo-Buff Delrin Buffer Pin - Power Custom Charging Handle - Power Custom Extended Magazine Release I took it out this morning with a box of Federal Auto Match rounds. It took only 2 10-round magazines to get it sighted in just right at 25 yards, and from there it was just center-punching target after target. I think Ruger's 10-inch barrel is an excellent length for some very accurate shooting out of the 10/22 platform. This Charger is right in step with my Mark III Hunter...hard to tell which is more accurate. I'm impressed with the Charger! |
good gods man where are the pics!!!

They really are great *pistols*.
I can shoot minute of bowling pin (hanging @ 100 yards) shot after shot after shot, all the live long day using a little Burris pistol scope. Great fun! :D |

I know most of these Chargers look pretty much the same, but I'm content with just a few upgrades...

Very nice!
PM Morgo if you'd like to see some other cool Charger upgrades. He doesn't get on here much but his gun is very impressive! http://www.firearmstalk.com/forums/f15/glock-any-semi-auto-pistol-sbr-43982/#post526767 |
Here's mine

KMO- What kind of barrel do you have on it?
|
Mine with just a Clark trigger shot pretty good at 50 and 100 yards using CCI minimags.
I put a 4-12X AO Bushnell rifle scope on it, and shot it from the bipods with just my hand under the grip. It would change impact from bench to prone on the ground..........definitely reacting to different friction on the pods. A shorter bbl and or a break might have minimized POI shift. Alas, a buddy wanted it and I was not pleased with the plastic trigger housing, wasn't going to try and snag an old rifle and swap them. Mainly bought it for my kids, who didn't shoot it at all. Of course now my youngest wants one :( |
