I just bought a barely used 1986 built Ruger 10/22 stainless with a tiger-striped walnut stock. Just beautiful. I plan on getting some Volquartsen parts, Tech Sights, a few magazines, and leave it at that. No tactical here. I want to have fun, but can't bear to "tacticalize" this beautiful thing. Don't see any need for a tactical 22 anyway. Now, if it is on the AR-15 platform, at least you are practicing the skills necessary for your AR-15 work.
But a .22 is just for fun and maybe some trigger work.
