Default Ruger 10/22 still legal in NY?

Just recently getting into firearms (perfect timing I know) and am wondering if I can still legally purchase a Ruger 10/22 LR in NY State...

It has a capacity of 10 rounds if that answers your question. I have to admit I haven't been keeping up with the changes in your state. I basically just wrote it off.

I was hoping with a round limiter seeing as I don't think they make a "7" (LoL) round Mag....

They use a rotary mag. I don't believe they have manufactured a limiter yet.

They do make 5 rd mags.. You will need to find one that is being sold with Preban 10 rd mags, 5 round mags or no mags at all.. The rifle itself is still legal..

I found a link. Pretty cool. They are the standard 10 round magazine with a block in it that stops rotation at 5 rounds. Sounds like it is very easy to modify to a 10 round capacity.
Sold out at midway if you wanted to know.
