Default Ruger 10/22 factory magazine x2??

Has anyone seen the Ruger factory made BX-25x2? It looks like two of the regular 25 round magazines molded together and that you have to flip them once you empty 25 rounds, but heck, you still have two magazines right there. I just saw them on sale for $40, and that's basically the cost of one BX-25. Has anyone used these? Any good or bad info on them?

Are you talking about the sale that Webyshops just started?

Here's the link to the webpage: http://www.webyshops.com/RUGER-BX-25-X2-Magazine-25-Rd-90398.html

Yeah, actually that is the one. I think $20 off a magazine is a great deal. I was just wondering if it was a good magazine.

I've never shot the new BX-25s but I've heard they're awesome to shoot. They've got steel feed lips so I imagine they shouldn't have feeding problems. Also, they're able to be taken apart and cleaned. Another plus in my eyes.

I have a few of the regular BX-25 magazines. They are the only magazines I will use in my 10/22 now. I tried the butler creek mags, and was just not that satisfied with the results. The steel feed lips are the only way to go with these type of mags.

my nephew got a set. the lucky chuck got them FREE when he bought a new 10/22. bet that salesman was desperate- LOL. he loves then but is not a serious shooter. they work and load like a normal ruger magazine. they will handle 25 rounds out of the box without issue on bulk ammo by Federal & Winchester which is saying something. grab a set if you can afford them

as for the butler creek, i have a pair (Clear with red lips) (ok that sounds weird) that clip together to make the same setup. Got them as a two for one buy when mags were scarce. I do still have issues when I load to 25. it started at ten but eventually worked itself out as I slowly increased the number or rounds that I loaded. now I can load 20 rounds without issues.
it took about a brick to get to this point. so not my favorite setup but better than only having 10 round mags

The steel lipped BC magazines work as well as my Ruger mags do. Ive heard its a good idea to steer clear of the non-steel lipped BC mags.

I have two of the 25rd Ruger mags and love them. I think for 40 bucks the new x2 mag would be money well spent. Im gonna have to get a couple for myself.

My opinion they are the best mags you can get for the 10/22 and you can easily disassemble them for cleaning.

good thread, as i have heard many praises of the bx-25 (and i will add to those praises!), but i honestly have heard NOTHING about the bx-25 (X2).

i've never seen the 50 rounderds that cheap they are usually closer to $70 when i see them.

Years ago I bought Some BC Clear with plastic feed lips 25 rd mags. They haven't been used in years, but I never once had a problem with them. One has probably 1000 rounds thru it....
