Ruger 10-22

I'm debating on buying a used ruger 10-22 to do some plinking. I have single shot .22 rifles but don't own any semi automatics. Any suggestions or reviews about this gun? Also post pictures of yours !

Can't go wrong with a 10-22 :)

What is a good price for a used ruger 10-22?

Around 250 new on the high side (stainless). I'd look around at places to get used ones though. You ca get them cvheap and then have all kinds of aftermarket fun with them:)

Bought a carbine for $229 new and a compact for $219 early this year.

Here is a photo of mine above my Mossberg 715 tactical. Mine rocks a 22LR Nikon BDC scope. The only thing missing is a few of those 25 round ruger magazines.

I can't image not having at least one 10 22 in my vault. Problem is I can't seem to be able to leave well enough alone. At the moment I have three. As for price, about 6 months ago I bought one from Wal-mart for $230. Academy Sports had then for a little less than $200 at the time but that was extra 100 miles round trip so just got the one from Wally-mart.
