My 1969 carbine. Six digit serial number with no prefix. The parts are all metal and the receiver is anodized, not painted. Walnut stock with metal buttplate too! The only aftermarket parts I've put in it are a Volquartsen Exact Edge Extractor and a Volquartsen Extended Mag. Release. It still shoots little tiny groups.

I have astablished that a 22 lr will go through a quarter inch of frying pan okay shooting 12 gram co2 cartridge is really fun

life is good .move out to a true 50 or whatever yardage and work on your groups punching thru .25 alum. is cool but do it @50 yds with a hole less than 1 inch for 5 or 10 shots have fun and improve and pls post your targets here

Well when up to the woods measured out 115 yards in started shooting out of my 1022 I was only shooting to get a water bottle half full I hit that water bottle at 115 yards I was very happy

I'd recommend a BX-25, just gotta break em in.

I opened mine up after the first feed issue and added some oil, 1000 rounds later so far and not another issue.
