I have a Rossi .22 caliber pump action rifle that my grandfather gave to my father. I was told it was from a fair or arcade or something, and at one point had a chain welded to the barrel. The chain is gone, along with the front sight and about 1/8" of steel about 2" up from the muzzle of the barrel. Is this possible to repair, or is an entirely new barrel going to be required. A google search for a replacement barrel did not give any results. Your thoughts and recommendations would be appreciated. And of course, I am not going to do the work myself.
