Default Rohm revolvers- the orignal Saturday night special

just picked up a rg 14 long 22lr
i know its a cheepo saturday night special but it was cheep 95$ out the door. i know alot of people will say i over payed by 50 bucks . but this reflects todays gun prices. but getting past that debait. i like it its a plinker for me mabey last ditch home defence. and unlike my last saternight special aka hipoint c9 this one atleast fires every time i pull the triger. but like i said i got it for fun cheep to buy cheep to shoot. just wish i new how to figger out the age the ser# begins with a L70 im thinging the L stands for the mounth december and 70 mabey 1970 . fell free to put im your 2 cents on my new toy the good the bad and the egley

the rg-14 can be a last ditch home defence home arsunial consict of a keltec p32 sub compact, p11 9mm compact, walter p22 plinker, westfield 12g pump aka mossburg500, mosion 91-30 wwII eara bolt action, ROSSI single shot 20GA-22LR, and a savage 64 22lr semi auto rifle not a gun over 350$ all shot when triger is pulled. thats all i ask of my guns however if someone is fittling at my front door im going for my p11 9mm or my 12 ga pump first what can i say i like cheep opps i ment inexpensife guns

I hate to say this but the Rohm revolver is a notoriously dangerous "Saterday night special" poorly made gun in which frequently the cylinder does not align with the barrel and when you pull the trigger as much lead may come out the sides of the gun as out the front.

I dumped one that was given to me at a Police Buy Back Program a few years ago. Got a $50 gift card for it, what a deal.

Indexing can be fixed

I bought a Titan Tiger .38sp years ago that had been rebuilt when the last owner found out about a possible indexing issue. I bought what looks to be a turd w/ all custom inards for $65.00.

I picked up a "free" Rohm .38 in a mulit-gun purchase. After reading about them, I decided I didn't want to shoot it. I don't think I would have that issue with a Rohm in .22. If it works, it works.

I disposed of the .38 by giving it to a conservative co-worker.....
