We cannot keep the magazine inour Remington 77. The mag seems to go all the way in but the latch will not lock it in. The latch can be pushed with the thumb to hold the mag:confused in but when you move the thumb away, the latch moves back and allows the magazine to come out. The spring is on the latch but just doesn't keep the latch over enough to hold the mag. Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.

I also had a note telling me that the latch gets "STUFF" in front of it and will not let it go forward enough to latch the mag. I am in the process of taking it apart and checking this out. A post will be put up to let all know.
