Remington 597
 

Went to a pawn shop today, and the guy showed me one. Had a simmons scope on it, just forgot the model. After doing some research I saw they jam a lot if you get one with an earlier mag. Can I get a mag to fix this? The ticket said $160 for it. Is this reasonable, or should is it high? Just curious as I havent seen much talk about them here.
It is better than the 229 for a 10 22 though.

I would snatch it up in a heartbeat. Check out some simple mods. Mine is great, fun, and accurate.
