Skip the Remington. Get either the Federal or Winchester when buying at WalMart for the bulk packs.

Toss the Remingtons they're not worth the aggravation. Like was said for bulk get Federal or Winchester.

That could be the problem. The bullets need a tight seal on the casing. Otherwise, the gases bypass the bullet down the barrel

Remington tends to be spotty on their primer application and powder loads - you can hear and 'feel' a difference in power levels, which translates to vertical stringing. Some semi autos will choke on the lower powered rounds - my Browning Buckmark doesn't like Remington Golden Turds at all......

quality of brands vary greatly. the only 22's i have that do not care at all what they eat are my cmmg AR15 conversion and my ruger 10/22. my kimber 1911 22 conversion doesnt like ely target but will eat everything else. i tend to stick with winchester or federal bulk packs for everything else.
mileage varies from 22 to 22 on what it likes.

I don't use the bulk packs. From what I see they are too loosly packed and the bullet gets bent, knocked of center, or otherwise "messed up" so reliable feed is a problem.
I stay with the small boxes of 50 and have much better results.
And if you do the math, the price is sometimes even lower than the bulk pack.

I have tried a bunch of different HV22lr over the years. This does not include target ammo. I will use not Rem in any of my semi autos and I get misfires in my bolt action. I still have a few hundred to shoot up and wont buy anymore. Maybe I could give some to someone I dont like.
