Is this stock able to accept standard ruger 10 round mags? details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=67&Itemid=2
Would it be considered an assault rifle?

I don't know what you mean by "standard" mags. Now if you mean the "10-round stock" mags, I would say---yes. Now with something like this, would I only use only 10-round mags in it----OH NO! It will accept the BM-25 mags and 10/22 drum type magazines, which says by it's design will accept stock mags. NOW, if you're on the West or East Coasts where you don't have any "Rights" type State, then by all accounts "THAT IS AN ASSAULT" rifle once put together. The stock by itself, doesn't make it an assault rifle, it's the ability to make it one, once put together if it doesn't have your "States Recommended" safety features on it to prevent it from becoming an assault rifle. You would need to check with your local LGS to see if it passes your State "Assault" rifle codes for shipping to you.

Wow...$299 for a plastic wrap around .22 airsoft looking you gun? I don't know man, for that price you could do SOOOO much better, unless that's what your looking for. I like Red Jacket but that's kinda outrageous price wise. Just my opinion , don't mean to sound like a jerk.

You could get a tactical .22 for that price and get some lunch and ammo too.

Or.... You could get a Tapco stock for $99. Maybe you just like the style or look of the red jacket stock and that's fine too, but me personally that's pricey.

If in California, best thing you can do is BOHICA...LOL

Or do like a lot of folks and Move Out ;)

I have to admit to being a little torn about RJ...
on the one hand, they're advertising and popularizing firearms...which I like...
on the other, they show some of the WORST gunsmithing skills I've ever seen in my entire life...
Arguably, that could be so they don't show proper gunsmithing techniques is so that some doofus watching their show,
decides to try what he sees on TV, injures theirself or others and then tries to sue...
because honestly, even Rednecks can see what RJ does on TV is Bad Medicine...

Same for Gunsmoke (American Guns)...they do some truly squirrely things...for no apparant reason...
But I LOVE shows that show off guns!!!

Those are good options, plus there's also the Archangel version, but to find a "BullPup" stock and trigger wire mechanism, that works with the 10/22 action, without YOU having to do all the work---that's priceless, if you don't have the knowhow or tools. I seen that Zombie Episode and how they made/developed this rifle stock--it was pretty neat to have it formed by the 3-D print imagery.

Oh...just took a look at the stock in question...

Since the stock is meant to look like an FN P-90...just do what 90% of the rest of the world does...
buy an Airsoft Well P-90 stock for around $30, and put your 1022 in it yourself...

There's about 15 Utube vids on doing just pretty darn well...
Of course, it isn't a drop-in do need to have a basic handle on stock exchange/inletting...but it ain't hard.
Here's a friend's Marlin 795's in one...

i agree. go for a $30 airsoft verion and watch the youtube vids on how to stick your 10/22 inside

its pretty easy with some practice.

here's my $30 P90 with a 10/22 inside
