It's probably because she can beat him
up. I've found that to be a pretty unattractive quality. Not through experience of course, through observation.

Nice Fellas,

Actually she's divorced which can be a bad sign in a woman. I mean, she obviously could not put up with her first husband so why would any other guy assume that He could do better?

Besides, I'm coming up on my 21st anniversary and with that much time invested in training a woman, I'd be a complete fool to want to start over.

Tack

About 4 weeks ago my boss called me down to his office to look at 3 guns he'd bought from a friend who was strapped for cash. He's not a gun guy, only bought them to help a friend, and wanted my opinion on his purchase.

The 1st was a near mint condition Browning Auto 5 with owners manual and original Browning soft case. I verified the SSN/date of manufacture and confirmed he had a pristine 1967 Belguim built Browning.

The second was an old H&R break open single shot with lots of rust and badly pitted. Nothing special there and I don't even recal the caliber bit I want say .410 G

The third long gun I pulled from it's case was a Remi Nylon 66! I recognized it the moment my hand closed on the grip and long before that trademark "white diamond" in the fore end was visible. My boss must have recognized the nostalgia in my eyes as I marveled at that brown plastic stock and nicely blued receiver. Years of taking dads 66 afield for squirrels, grouse, and anything else I thought might be edible flooded back. In hindsight I'm a little embarrassed I showed that much emotion over what is really a 100 to 200 dollar gun in today's dollars but I just could not help it.

I guess he wanted to express some gratitude for two contracts I've landed since looking at those guns for him because he wraped up the week by handing me that 66 this afternoon.

What a gesture! This is one of those rare gifts we receive in life that exemplifies the old saying, "it's the thought that counts".

Im scheduled for three hours of RSO training at my gun club this weekend. Looks like I'll need an extra hour or two to reacquaint myself with a old friend.

Tack
I remember a high school buddy's Nylon 66 very fondly.

I may never again shoot a rifle as accurate.

Its a quality I like, that's why I married a redheaded Marine chick with a bigger gun collection than mine
If you are in fear of your female partner, less chance you'll cheat...cause she'll use that GI K-bar to chop something OFF!!

Ya gotta luv a gal that can back you up in a barroom brawl...or start one...

And if we get bored over a long holiday weekend, we can always invade Cuba & take over

Gimme 1000 female Marines in full combat gear, and 6 months to train them...I WILL take Cuba in a weekend.
Basically, after 6 months...they're all cycling at the same time...so one Pamprin-missing weekend,
just drop 'em on one side of Cuba, and the Pamprin on the other...there will be nothing left but puppies & children

Can ya tell I've developed a lotta Marine jokes over the years??
Most of 'em ain't printable...LOL

And you have not LIVED, until yer wifey moves in with a Pink gun safe that holds more than your two safes...
