If you would select a lever over a pump, you must never have shot a pump .22. My Win 62A would shoot quicker than a semiauto. I think some of the clones made more recently have a lawyer-fix that will not allow the slam shot feature. The Henry pump is a superb PA rifle. I have a Win 1906 that shoots as good as the day it was made sometime in 1915. Don't sell the pumps short. JMHO you understand.

I personally think it's much easier to get a second shot off with a pump over a lever gun. But I love and own both.

I was selling raffle tickets for The FNRA at a local gun show today and a guy came by with a really nice Rem 572 BDL. I now have a 572. There were a lot of good buys but not a whole lot of money to spend. I could have easily spent a couple thousand $ on private sales.
