Big Shreck, good information there! good things to look for when shopping for used M60's. mine had a bunch of gunk in it when i got it. after a good cleaning and lubing, it runs perfect. i i have only had a few FTF, and that was a fault of the ammo, not the rifle. mine was used and i have no idea how many rounds were fired in it before i got it, but i have put over 1500 rounds through it since i bought it.

Oh, before I forget, the 20, 25 (non-slide-action and no "N"), 80 and 780 are all the same rifle with varying degrees of factory stock/sight mods.

The 25N, 880, 925, 980, and XT22 are a different family group...different mags than the 80 & its relatives...and vary with stock/trigger factory mods...

Default Pawn shop deal.....

I offered the guy $50 and he said no way, he had a tag on the gun with 3 prices on different dates. I think that he'll take $60 for it after 30 days. I go back and hopefully it'll still be there. Thanks for the help......

The model 80 was the first rifle I ever bought,I bought it in the late 70s for the whopping price of 25 dollars with a scope. The only problem I ever had with it was the bolt came loose and had to be soldered up,I have passed it down to my youngest son now.
