Non semi-auto tube fed...

Whats a good non semi-auto(pump/lever/bolt) tube fed .22 for fairly cheap? As in <$200 used. I need a good CB shooter.

Marlin makes a couple bolt action that are tube fed (925 and 880 spring to mind) and are 22LR. There are more in 22 mag if that's your flavor too.

Vist auctionarms.com and gunbroker.com. Shop carefully among the used Marlins, Remingtons, Winchesters, Brownings and Mossbergs. They all made tube fed .22s, in bolt, lever and pump. Some, like the Marlin 39A are GREAT rifles- but you will not find one for $200. An older bolt action like a Marlin 81 should be in the $100-$125 range. Not an Olympic grade target rifle- but you can roll beer cans at 100 yards. HOWEVER- you said yo wanted a CB shooter- most will fail to feed the very tiny CB cartridge- unless you are using CCI CB longs, or Aguilla Colibri- which they handle well. IF you can find a used Remington 550-1, altho a semi, it WILL cycle with CB Longs.

Get a Henry lever action - mine handles anything from Colibri to Minimags, flawlessly! Smooth action, accurate, light&handy. It goes to the range far more often than my Marlin M39, and shoots just as accurately.

You should be able to find a used Marlin 981T under $200, but you can buy one of the new Marlin XT-22TR (blue) for less than $200, or the XT-22TSR (stainless) for about $240 and they will have the new Pro-Fire adjustable trigger. They just don't have one with a wood stock in the tube feed, 22-short/long/long rifle versions, the tube magazine models in 22lr have the synthetic stock.

The XT-22TR is out of stock at Bud's, but it was only $177 new.

I recommend checking your local Wal-Mart for one of the new XT-22TR (blue) or XT-22TSR (stainless) rifles if you don't have to have a wood stock. Their prices seem to be pretty close to Bud's Gun Shop.

The Marlin 925 and 880 are both clip-mag bolt actions. The lever action rifles from Marlin and/or Henry are nice, but hard to find under $200, I haven't looked into the pump action rifles.

I've got a 783 but it's a 22mag and it is an awesome little gun. You can pick them up for under $200 without much problem.

For $200 or less,You will have to find a used lever action. Some great tube fed lever actions are the Marlin 56/57's,and the Winchester 250.Ruger also has one,but I'm not sure if the Ruger 96 ever had a tube magazine.
You can also find these in 22WMR if wanted-Marlin 57M,Winchester 255

Henry is the only mfg that makes a lever action currently, and the Marlin 39 and Winchester 9422 will be way more than $200
Marlin still makes the 39,but they are very pricey.

There are plenty of bolt action tube fed models around, both new and used.
