New weapon
Today I picked up both an Bday present for me (next week) and a gift to my kids; they will work towards ownership of the rifle. Smith and Wesson MP15-22
About $400 at a local shop - it's cheaper online, but not a lot cheaper when factoring in FFL fees, shipping, etc. I removed the seemingly very nice iron sights it came with, and transplanted a few of my AR15/M4's toys.
My son and I went through 50 rounds plinking in the back yard tonite. Neither could hit very well. I believe the Ammo we use is weird. As I'd adjust the EOTech, the bullets would not respond in kind. Sometimes two shots fired at the same point would strike several inches apart. So - there's work to be done.
Anywho - here's the pic - I couldn't decide which pic I preferred so I'm showing both.

dont put much pressure on the rail/handguard it can easily change the poi. the reciever is polymer and bends easy under pressure.

Thanks guys - I can't see any way to bend the receiver. Feels sturdy. When firing, I left it on the bipod legs, left hand along side. Will try the new ammo tomorrow or friday and report back! hooah.

it doesnt take much to move the poi a few inches. you wont be able to see it bend but bend it will. seems like your enjoying the hell out of it!! im taking mine out tomorrow and shooting it along with my new agent and xdm. if i can sweet talk the wife i want to run some through her xdm too.
if i move my dot sight to the rail the dot moves left of the front sight but the rail looks perfectly even with the reciever rail.

try getting it sighted in wit a grid target and the best ammo u can get a .5 inch group of 4 shots then adjust fire another four shots DO NOT try and adjust ur point of aim while zeroing u should get a decent group pretty quick
