Sounds like a reaction to Armscor's .22 TCM and the bolt-action rifle they have coming out next Spring.

Do we really need another caliber/cartridge into an already huge diversity in ammo? I personally don't see a need.

I agree actually what are they expecting out of this whats the target customer here and what game. Just in rim fires I can take everything from squirrel to coyote I bought a 17HMR and I own a 22lr and for everything I have a 22-250 I just don't really see the need for this new amazing special round. I won't lie I'm curious but I most likely won't buy it.

Sounds like an upgrade from the rimfires we have today. I would seriously consider buying one if it doesnt get banned before it comes out on the market.

With all the crap that's going on right now, we may need more selections in rimfire ammunition. It DC is successful in restricting ammunition as well, rimfire may be a likely exclusion.
