Yep, I bought it a little over a year ago, my uncle just bought the same exact rifle about 2 weeks ago, same gun same trigger

Yes he did say its a vrx not the standard 917v like he prig said thats why it has the profire trigger its not the 917v.

Since we're talking about the marlin 917......mine has the cheap black stock. I want the marlin factory laminate...... Any idea how much one would cost straight from marlin?

Marlins laminate stocks are made by guess who??? Boyds, so just get a boyds its less than what they want an it will run u 110.00$ to your door. That includes shipping
