I am at a road block. I really want to get the savage 93r but am not sure if it would be worth it with the new 17 wsm coming out? Should I just wait?? The Bmag will probably be around 300 and I could get the 93r for 215 :/ what should I do??

I say get the 93R17 now and wait to see how the new .17 round plays out. Make sure it takes off. When the .17 Mach 2 first folks were chomping at the bit for it. How many .17 M2's do you see out there now? Remember how crazy folks were about .45 GAP. That's a dead round now too.

i have had my Savage M93r17 for about eight years now. great rifle, and very accurate as well. restocked it last year to cure the one problem i have had with it, a too short LOP for me! restocked it with a nutmeg laminated stock from Boyd's Gun Stocks. made a world of difference.

even though i'm stoked on the new 17 WSM coming out, i will probably wait at least a year to see how well it fares. see what the real world reviews are from actual owners and not gun rag writers. so far it looks promising and i'll just have to be patient ant wait and see what happens. see if it worth all the hype and hoopla.
