Name your best .22 rifle and favorite game to hunt with it.
Over my friend and I just mounted a bipod on my remington scoremaster model 511 my friend joking called it the "squirrel master"

Marlin 25MN (.22WMR)
Rabbit, Squirrel, Armadillo, Raccoon, Coyote, & Opossum.
Any smaller than deer critter is fair game...the precision of the microgroove barrel works wonders with 50-grain Federal GameShoks

marlin 25n .22 lr
mainly squrriel and woodchucks. its was my first rifle ever 13 yrs ago, and its still my favorite
2nd one down

My best is a winchester model 61 22mag, any critter short of big game is in a bad way its a very accurate lil pump gun

what brand of bipods are you guys using. i have been wanting one for my .22's but didnt wanna fork out the money for a harris. been looking at shooters ridge,caldwell and UTG but wasnt sure how they performed

Academy sells blackhawk bipods for around 35 bucks. They are pretty nice to way cheaper than a Harris.

I have a shooters ridge one, and cant tell the difference from my buddies Harris
Its a toss up between my Weatherby MK.XXII and Winchester Model 63... Just paper and cans....

Here is my "best" and probably my favorite .22 rifle. It is a Marlin 39A Golden Mountie, 1967 vintage. Even though it is already 45 years old, if given halfway decent care, it will outlast my grandson who is only four months old now. But I also like my Ruger 10/22 a lot.
