I took it to the range for the first time yesterday. With CCI Std. Velocity Ammo I could put 10 rounds in a dime at 25 yds., 10 rounds in a nickel at 50 yds. The Federal ammo I have did not do nearly as well. I will get some better ammo later to see if I can improve that. It did cost me way more than I should have spent on it. (I need my head examined.) The rifle alone was $1200.
Wolf/sk ammos will imrorve groups by 1/2 with a kidd barrel . Mine is not good with cci ether. Should get you 1/4" or less 25 yard groups. Federal as has some lower cost ammos to try 711b and 719 for plinking at the range with some accuracy. But there 922A is produced by RWS and boxed in genmany in federal stamped brass and bows. This is the one place you can get larger amounts of ammo with the same lot number.
Someone on here says that his factory Marlin 22 will shoot sub MOA. Under an inch at 100 yards and that his 17hmr (also factory) 'will do much better than that'.
