Skullcrusher-if you just walked in a gunsmith shop & requested everything I did to mine, I estimate ( based on what I charge) it would cost between 300$-400$. When I'm doing work on my own firearms I don't keep track on the time, just concentrating on getting it EXACTLY the way I want.
Just fitting the barrel is 100$. You CAN just use an aftermarket barrel with the factory stock method of the V clamp & 2 screws but I'd like to think threading/precision fitting makes it more accurate. The rest of it simply involves modifing the factory parts. I bought it & built it before even test firing it.
Believe it or not mrm14-that's an actual Ruger factory stock-limited edition through a distributor of course. I was going to make a stock almost exactly like that when I spotted 5 Ruger 10/22s lined up in the rack of a dealer buddy of mine so we worked out a deal.
Ruger 10/22®*Autoloading*Rifle (10/22RB-CIII) Overview
I forgot I used a metal trigger guard to replace the factory plastic 1. I tried some RWS R50 & some Eley Benchrest Gold in it and the 10 shot groups at 50 yards are smaller than the 5 shot groups of the cheaper ammo-all from a rifle that weighs less than 6 pounds, scoped & all. More pics of targets next time my nephew comes out & takes them & puts them on the computer-IF it's not going to bore yall.

Don't spread this around but Bear is only 5'1" tall.

Really? Can you question the nail driver @ 100 yds?

LMAO yall!!! Like I said in my original post,I'd much rather have a Leupold 3x-9x-33mm AO EFR but had the Nikko Stirling lying on the bench not doing anything so I thought-what the hell,I'll give it a try. I'm planning on replacing it when I get the extra cash.
My old motorcycle license offically states that I'm 2'6" tall, and have blue hair & brown eyes. I saved that license by reporting it lost & getting a duplicate. I guess the cat's outta the bag-I'm just a lil bitty wimp .

Squirrels > nails. It should be the perfect tack driver.
That would be an entertaining pic, Bear; drive some actual nails with that thing.

I don't give a sh!t what your stature is, you’re the Bear and I haven't seen one spurious post on this forum!
Bear, I'd go back to back with you in any squabble!
Stay pure, as you always do, and tell it like it is!
I would trust my LIFE with any weapon Bear puts in my hand!
Back off MF’s!
