Default My new GSG-5!

Hey everyone! After a trip to the range a couple of weeks ago with some friends, including a buddy who had a GSG-5 .22 longrifle copy of the MP-5 which shot PHENOMINAL, I decided I had to have one.

I mean, what would you have done? My buddy was kind enough to let me shoot his GSG-5, which he had sighted in with a little red dot sight. Having never shot or even shouldered the rifle before, I was able to pick it up, insert a magazine loaded with 20 rounds, pull it to my shoulder and put all 20 rounds into a single, ragged, quarter-sized hole at 10 meters (and the hole was actually where I was pointing the gun, always a bonus).

Assuming this was a fluke (I'm not a great shot) I reloaded the magazine and did it again, with the same result, shooting as fast as I could pull the trigger. It was the first time in a long time I had emptied a gun's magazine, cleared the weapon and stepped away from the firing line with a ridiculous grin on my face. (last time I can remember was when I shot a .50 caliber rifle for the first time.)

Needless to say, I was sold at that moment. I just got my hands on a new one of my own a couple of days ago. Can't wait to shoot it and accessorize it. If you haven't messed with one of these, you owe it to yourself to check it out! With the increasing costs of ammo this is a great little tactical-looking .22 that is both fun and affordable to shoot!

So who has one? What have you done to it?

Josh

I got mine from Kingdom Arms, the gun shop I built the website for. You can check them out on the web at KindomArms.com

I think I paid a bit over 500 bucks, a bit more after tax, but I don't remember the exact amount. Check out their website and if you don't see what you want, call them up, they're GREAT people.
