Then forget i said anything then. It would be great for that but a barret heavy barrel m4 collapsable tactical stock is cheaper and w all the rails on it it gives you almost unlimited possibilities

Was going to get that, but got this in left handed. :

Rimfire Sports & Custom: Yukon 10/22 Stock, Bull Barrel

also ordered this as I needed a bull barrel for it. Now i'm just deciding on rings and a rimfire scope. Probably something 4-16x-40mm for target shooting.

Rimfire Sports & Custom: Tactical Solutions 16.5" Ruger 10/22 Barrel - Threaded End

Centerpoint has a dang good 4-16x40 mm scope. I have one for my 10/22 but put it on my mini 14 instead. My centerpoint 3-9x32 works preety well on my 10/22 tacticool

I have a Centerpoint 4-16x40. I actually had it on the Ruger today at the indoor 50ft range. It seemed OK, but I didn't test it extensively considering it is only 50ft. I realized when I came home that the scope base was actually loose. I thread locked the screws tonight so i'll try the Centerpoint again once I build it.

Hopefully I can get out to the 100 yard range and check it out before it gets too cold.

I'm shooting CCI Mini-Mags and ran through 200 without any issues. First .22 rifle and i'm having fun.

Ya i put the 3-9 on my ruger because i can shoot accurately out to my safe killing distance w it and yet be compact/clear enough to hunt with

Howdy,
I have a warning for you!!!!! The 10-22 is one of the most addictive rifles on the earth. I have 5 of them. I have changed stocks to polymer stocks on all of them. I have red dots and scopes on all of them. My last one was a youth model and I added a lightweight stock with a red-green dot on it. It is so short and handy. Like I said beware of the 10-22 bug becaus when it bites there is no cure but acquiring another 10-22. This is a temporary fix because the symptoms will return again and again. Have a goodun!!!!
