Mossberg customers would have been better served if they had just put a decent trigger on the 702. What the hell is wrong with the people who run that company?

This is what happens when a gun manufacturer puts out a call for "gun enthusiasts" in video game forums and magazines instead of coming to our forum where more is shot outdoors than on TV. Someone thought that taking a good rifle and "sprucing up" it's looks to a more modern look would sell more guns. Unfortunately no real shooter stepped up to tell them the only thing we'd do with a gun like this is prop the safe door open.

But in Political Society ... if I attempt to avenge myself, the whole Force of that Society is ready to complete my Ruin."

That is by far the werdest .22 ever made. Maybe mossy and marlin got together and this is the resulting offspring of foolish gun design.

Well, maybe not totally. It would make it easier to pick out your rifle from the others in the rack.

It shoots the cartridge on the far left. The rifle we are laughing at, shoots the cartridge on the far right.

As you can see, it is pretty comical.

Thank you. I get it now.

Those are truly excellent.

Explanation of how that rifle came to be designed-
The Design Dept at Mossberg had been working overtime, trying to come up with new concepts. While working late one Thursday night, they realized they had all missed dinner, so they called for a pizza delivery- Pepperoni, onions, greens peppers and mushrooms.
It was a slow Thursday night at the Dawning of Aquarius Pizza Parlor, so the guys in back decided to have some fun. Pulling out their SPECIAL stash of mushrooms..........

Not to spoil the fun ('cause I completely agree), but can you even count the # of "tactical .22" posts here? Mossberg is only responding to market demands...
Fun is fun but check back into reality, guys & girls...
