Default The most inexpensive semi-auto or bolt action .22?

Hello
As you can tell I am new to the forums and I am thinking about buying my first gun. So I was wondering what is the most inexpensive semi-auto or bolt action .22 there is out there.
Help would be great

The price will vary depending on your local store, cheaper still if you order online and have it shipped to a local FFL (Federal Firearm License) holder.

$150 will buy you a Savage or Marlin semi-auto or a Mossberg bolt action at one of the big family friendly outdoor leisure stores. Online price for the same rifle maybe $120-130.
