Mossberg tactical 715 semi-auto rifle

Any reviews for this rifle thinking about purchasing it?

Frankly, I'd go with an RIA MIG22...better quality than the Mossy for only about $50 more :)
Still kinda hard to find over here so far...but wait a few months and they'll be everywhere!!

The mossy is built off the 702 action, with all its headaches...yukky

Do you own one?

Get the mig22 falcon. Better gun, more accurate, better quality, and ALOT better CS. Ya I OWNED a 715 for about 3 days and sold it for $140.

All the reviews I read were mostly positive. I looked at getting one but went with the smith m&p instead. Glad I did. I love it. I wanted a flat top so that made my decision for me. The thing I found about the mossberg from reviews I didnt like was the magazine won't drop out when released. It has to be pulled. I dont have time for that when I'm fighting hordes of squirrels.

No Mossy's in my stable...I have yet to find anything they make that feels or works better than a Squires-Bingham model 16 ;)
The Mossy 715 I've seen in a few stores, it fails to impress, especially if you've held an Armi-Jager (yet another inexpensive, but better made rifle) ;)
The 715T is simply a 702 encased in an AR-looking shell.

I kinda hate to bash the stuffings out of a well-known name, but Mossberg ain't known for much other than sticking around...
Even the 9422 is kind of a bastich child...there's nothing that Mossberg has ever made that has impressed me with its quality.
The 500 shotgun the military scarfed up was due to low cost, not better workmanship than the Remmy 870 it replaced...
And since they can neither surpass even the lowest denominators in the gun world, like S-B, nor be as precise as the cheapo Marlin Microgroove barrels...
what's the point of owning a less accurate, low quality weapon when there's better stuff out there for the same cash or pretty close??

The only gun MFR I dislike more on quality than Mossy is Ruger...for their never-ending quality issues...and how they choose to fix 'em (or not).

I've only inspected the MIG22 at a gun show...but even then it came across as better than one would expect.
Enough so that I'd buy one, if I didn't have twin babies sucking my wallet dry for diapers/formula/wipes ;)

I own a mossberg 715t and a like it I don't love it but I do like it.

I bought a Mossberg 22 semi-auto several years ago. I wasn't happy with it. Mossberg builds great pump shotguns, not rimfire rifles.

Can someone tell me more about this mig22? Is it a better gun than the 10/22 ? How much does it cost? How much are magazines?

Go to youtube and do a search on "Mossberg Tactical 715". You will find a ton of video reviews on it. I just tried it.
