I just picked up the 715. I have only had a chance to fire about 25 rounds as you cant find any ammo. But it was fun as hell to shoot, cycled the 25 rounds smooth and problem free. Glad i purchased it, for $300 don't think you could go wrong.

I have the flat top version. Aside from if you want to break it down for any reason being a major pain in the dick Its a type writer and pretty accurate. I just sighted in my red dot and the majority of my groups were quater sized at 25 yards. I think its a great rifle and doesn't deserve all the ****ty press it gets. Definately go for it if you find a good deal!. I paid 300 for mine with red dot. Oh ps if you get it, the bolt likes to slingshot forward to seat the round right, otherwise it will jam every time lol

My biggest complaint is I cannot find any 22lr right now to shoot in my flat top 715.

The magazine is a little cheesy, otherwise the rifle functions as advertised.

Buddy bought one locally for $399. It is a pain to clean/break down but he is happy. The S&W MP 15 is in stock here for $499 and they are shooters. I've got the Colt version for another c note on top of that and it has yet to jam or misfeed. Great gun.

I bought one for my son a couple of years ago when they first came out, well under 300,,, it shoots well but the follower on the 25 round magazine is very high and can hit the bolt after the last round. A Colt or S&W are better rifles, but for the price and the amount my son shoots,, currently in college,, it was a good deal and he likes it alot. I'll stick with my Marlin 39 and Ruger 10\22.

Picked one up and so far really enjoy it. 2-25rnd clips, flashlight, laser, red dot. Almost like the real thing ha ha. So far its good clean fun and don't see where I'd go wrong. I also looked at the colt and gotta say I was very impressed but couldn't get myself (wife) to drop that much. So I'm in it at $285!
