Yea they are decent plinkers for a .17 mm bolt rifle and puts out nice groups at a 100 yds. with a decent scope. I do not own one or have a lot of shooting experience with one, but I have shot a few. The price is good as well. Personally I would prefer a Marlin or a Savage .17 mm with the accu-trigger, but that's just me. In other words, to answer your question, IMO, that would be a yes.
