Mossberg .22 tactical
I am putting out feelers and asking for input on this 227 dollar firearm. I am seriously considering such a rifle as i love the six position SOPMOD butt stock and the quad rail system. I want to hear about your exp with this platform and add ons

Do a search quite a bit of info on it. All research I did on it came back pretty positive. Only negative i found was the magazine doesn't just drop out when you push the mag release. You have to pull it out. I almost bought one but went with the m&p 1522 instead. Glad I did. It was more money, but I havent regretted it yet.

Very good sir. I am looking of course at the price tag but i am wondering about the rails mostly and the strength of the over all body. Ill do more research

We had one for several months no issues with the rails or strength of body. We dressed it up with accessories off my AR with no issues. In the end we only got rid of it when my 13 yr old decided he wanted to go cowboy shooting over tactical. We traded it for a Henry, but I would have had no issues keeping it if that was what he had decided.

Keep these stories coming yall. I am always very picky when buying. All the guys at work come to me for firearms advice and should i buy or shouldnt I. So it is bad when i buy a gun that sucks lol. I am looking forward to my continued tactical life style and hope to maybe add this weapon to my collection

Thought about buying one till I held it. Didn't like how it felt so I opted for the ruger 10/22

The 'feel-factor' persuaded me to go for the S&W 15-22. I really like the solidity of the little beast, which is better than the M-16 I was issued in 1968! Though to be honest, the M-16 had been through a couple of guys before me. Any one of them can be a lot of fun to trick-out and at the range.

So what about it feels cheap or not up to par. Is the rail system good or ****

Gunlover38 07-17-2012 11:20 PM

The rail system is good i suggest it. Could you put of picture of it on here?
