I've owned a Mossberg 144 .22 for many years. It has the old style T-bolt handle with S-130 rear sight. This gun is extremely accurate. Somewhere along the line I misplaced or should I say lost the front sight hood. After researching online I'm confused as to whether a sight hood for the 44US or 144LS (later model) will fit my rifle. Also, if anyone knows of a company that could help me I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

I've been looking at the 144's lately because my wife wants a replacement for the US Property marked Stevens 416 I sold several years ago...she really liked that rifle.
