marlin xt22 mag fed vs. savage mk2

was wanting to get a 22lr bolt action rifle..
saw these two but heard that marlin is more accurate...
also the banana type clip on the savage looks a little flimsy by the several piece construction compared to the marling, less pieces.
any pros or cons?
main use:
1. small game hunting (eventually will put a scope)
2. target practice

If the XT-22M works as well as my Marlin 25MN (.22magnum), you'll be one happy gun owner :)

My next new Marlin will be the XT-22MVSR...then I'll slap a Boyd's stock on it...
however the recent addition of Twin Boys to my family has greatly curtailed my gun habits...
so it may be awhile before that occurs...argh...

the listed weight if the MVSR (Heavy Barrel w/ Synth Stock) is the same as the regular barrel/wooden stock...
but even if it was a pound or two more, wouldn't make any difference, its still lighter than a M240B...lol
as long as ya ain't a wimp, 6 pounds to 7 pounds makes no difference at all!!
