Marlin Tune Up Program

Anyone remember the Marlin Tune Up program? If I remember, in the 80's Marlin had a program that would replace all worn springs, screws, and most of the small, wear type parts. I sent in my Golden 39A for the special, and ended up adding on factory re-blue,gold trigger,shot tube, sling swivel installation. I think the special was less than $25.00+S&H. I think I ended up with a $100.00 total, but came back like factory new. Any thoughts?

Wow. That sounds pretty sweet. Not sure if they'd do it now, seeing how this economy wouldn't help their business very much!

Yeah, double wow. I have a 22 semi auto from my youth that could use a once over for nostalgic reasons! Anyone know if they still do this?
