I have obtained a Marlin Model '92 .22 S-L & L-R. Serial number A1093. Does anyone have any info? Thanks, Jim

Something is wrong here. That S/N comes back as a 1892 production BUT, the Model 1982 didn't go into production until 1895 and ran through 1915.

Um, my book shows the 1892 as starting production in 1892-1916...

On an oddball note, the .32 version of the 1892 could be switched from rimfire to centerfire by changing out the firing pin
