I got it all together and shot about 50 rounds thru it...works flawlessly. I know what you're saying though. The Winchester 94 i inherited from my granddad hadn't been stripped and cleaned...probably ever and the cartridges were dragging gunk and dirt into the action. I plan on stripping this one down soon when i get another day off.

Hey Marlinman, one of my LGS had a screw for it. Thanks though. Ill keep you in mind for future parts.

Mr. Marlinman, where would i be able to find small "e" or "horseshoe" clips for the action on my model 990. LGS couldnt help....im going to try hardware and hobby shops next

Harbor frieght has an assorted size box for like $6. Its where we buy ours at anyways.
