Marlin mod.80 bolt ?

I have a marlin model 80 "AJ" that was purchased as a parts gun but after I cleaned it up it seemed too nice part out.
The gun is missing the complete bolt and I would like to know what bolts would fit.
Do different years of manufacture work in others or do I have to find one from another "AJ" stamped gun?
Numrichs are out of stock but I found one on Gunbroker .MARLIN 80 , 22 cal. COMPLETE BOLT ASSEMBLY : Bolts at GunBroker.com
.
Thanks for any help can give.

I'd say go for the bolt. It fits all Marlin model 80s to the best of my knowledge. If it don't work it'll need very minor fitting to make it work.

Been a while since I fooled with the 80- but IIRC, the 80 and the 81 were in production for a bunch of years, and there WERE changes in some parts- including the bolt. I know I had 2 model 81s that used different bolts- 80s may be the same.

Thanks c3,
I just got a reply from the seller and he said one of the differences was handle location, the other was type of extractor.
I just wish I could be a little more certain as it'll be at least a $67.00 mistake if I'm wrong.

Explain the situation and see if you can return it if it doesn't work.

He already stated no returns.
I do have another Mod.80 and the bolt fits and dry fires so Il take measurements and have him check his to see if they're the same .

I went with it,keeping my fingers crossed. If not I can always sell it.(or buy another gun for it to fit in)
