Axxe, you get points for using punctuation, but lose points for not capitalizing your first letter of each sentence.
well just put an "F" on my report card, and i'll write " i will capitilize", one thousand times on the blackboard! lol!

All in good fun. Today was a slow news day, being Christmas and all.

So...my experience trying (and failing) to find a .357 Marlin 1894css has a reason:

RIP, Marlin Carbines

This does explain the shortage, but I think I would give Marlin a call. The press release said halting until the end of the year. They may start up again. But if demand drops off too much they'll probably discontinue them all together. There web site still has them listed in pistol rounds, but that doesn't mean much. The web site could be out of date.

It may help if everyone wanting a pistol caliber lever action would call Marlin to request one, they'll start producing them again.

Much of the lever-action lines got halted so they could address quality issues..
Given my conversations with some Marlin Management critters, it is a good thing.
The lever-actions are Marlin's Bread & Butter...they make the money.
They are going to get them RIGHT...because Biz likes Profit

The 60 & 795 & 70-P lines don't garner much profit, just massive sales.
Several issues have been resolved in the last two months...like the off-kilter 3/8" accessory rails

The X-7 line is making money...few issues if any on those.

Things should be normalized by spring/summer.
