Problems with Remington rimfire ammo include:
Out-of-spec cases
Out-of-spec bullets
Low powder loads
Zero Powder loads (Squibs)
bad primer tamping
no primer at all
exceptionally dirty powder components, which means really dirty firing & grit leftover.
Remmy rimfire ammo is the worst ammo you can buy. Almost anything else will run just fine.
I usually use Blazer or CCI for the first 1000 rounds...then use Federal/Winchester Western/Eley/ or more CCI/Blazer.
